In Different Form by Yuvraj Singh – Book Summary
We Indians love cricket and worship our cricketers as gods, in some cases. And after India won the 2011 ICC World Cup, in my eyes, they were right up there with the Gods. One of the heroes of the Indian Cricket Team and one of my personal favourites was Yuvraj Singh and while everyone commended Dhoni on how he led the team to glory, one must never forget Yuvraj’s contribution and for me, it were his knocks that led the team till that final destination.
Of course, life has a cruel sense of humor. While Yuvraj was the toast of town, little did anyone know that the cricketer was silently suffering from heath problems that were taking its toll on his body. And soon the truth was revealed; the highly gifted Yuvraj was suffering from cancer!
Thankfully though, it was a benign form that was treated soon and as I write this post, Yuvraj is back to recovery and taking his rightful place in the Indian Cricket Team. But for all his fans like me who’ve prayed for his return, you’ll be pleased to know that his debut book, In Different Form by Yuvraj Singh, is soon going to be released which details an entire account of this phase from Yuvraj’s life.
In Different Form by Yuvraj Singh talks all about winning the world cup and his subsequent diagnosis with cancer that left him broken; onto his treatment and his experience with chemotherapy and more importantly how he learnt to find the will to fight against it and emerge a winner.
I can’t wait to read In Different Form by Yuvraj Singh because I’m personally a huge fan of the man and his debut book is going to be a really great motivational and inspiring read!

In 2011, Yuvraj was diagnosed with cancer in his left lung and returned to India in April 2012 after undergoing treatment in the US. He has also been nominated for the prestigious Arjuna Award by BCCI for his performance in World Cup 2011 and recently launched his cancer charity You We Can to raise awareness and help people with the illness.
