I happened to order 34 Bubblegums and Candies from Flipkart the other day and finished reading it within a span of 2 hours. A light read, 34 Bubblegums and Candies, is a non-fiction book written by Preeti Shenoy, the author of Life is What You Make It, and is essentially a collection of 34 anecdotes/experiences from the author’s life, a lot of which are humorous yet thought provoking. The Good and Not So Good Bit on 34 Bubblegums and Candies
A little thought provoking, 34 Bubblegums and Candies pushes to the edge of the answer without really giving you the solution and that’s what I liked best about it. Rather than giving a solution, it forces you to look at different viewpoints and lets you explore the real meaning of it.
That said and done, it’s the kind of book that feels a little short and you’re then left with the feeling of wanting more, just a little bit more like a good dessert you’ve just finished. Nothing bad in that, just that maybe a little bit more would have been better!

34 Bubblegums and Candies is a must buy and a must read and I completely agree with the author when she says, “These could happen to anybody and you will probably recognize yourself in them. Some are humorous; some moving, some thought provoking but each one brings out the trials and tribulations of a successful journey called life. 34 bubble gums and candies is one book that will tempt you, making you want to taste it, chew it, relish it. So what are you going to pick today— a bubblegum or a candy?”
